The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in a private residential house located on Shahriyar Guliyev Street, Sumgayit city.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry’s Press Service, forces of the Sumgayit City Fire Protection Department of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire that occurred in the private residential house with a total area of 70 sq.m. was extinguished in a short time, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
As a result of the fire, the combustible structures of the kitchen with a total area of 12 sq.m. and the roof covering on an area of 30 sq.m. burned down.
There were no casualties.
The majority of the private residential house and nearby buildings were protected from the fire.
