A meeting of the Central Conscription Commission was held at the headquarters of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription regarding the progress of the July call-up for active military service.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
At the meeting, chaired by the head of the State Service, Major General Mursal Ibrahimov, the implementation status of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for active military service from July 1 to 30, 2026, and the transfer of active military service personnel to the reserve” was discussed.
It was noted that the State Service has carried out the necessary work to successfully execute the July 2026 conscription and to ensure the high-quality staffing of the Armed Forces with active military service personnel.
It should be noted that the Central Conscription Commission, established by the relevant Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, provides guidance and exercises control over the activities of district (city) conscription commissions regarding the call-up of citizens for active military service. 15 government agencies are represented in the Central Conscription Commission.
At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were made regarding the issues on the agenda.
