“We have decided that the ban on gasoline exports will remain in effect for both producers and non-producers until the end of the year,” Novak said.
According to him, the restrictions on diesel fuel exports will be gradually lifted as the situation in the market normalizes. Novak noted that this step is aimed at preventing the accumulation of excess stocks at oil refineries and a decrease in processing volumes.
It should be noted that this summer, interruptions in fuel supply occurred in Russia due to changes in the logistics chain. The government has implemented a series of measures to stabilize the situation, including the temporary ban on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel. The current restriction was scheduled to expire on July 31.
