A telephone conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron.

It was stated that the parties discussed issues on the agenda of the Armenia-France strategic partnership and confirmed their mutual will regarding the consistent development of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation.

Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expanding export opportunities from Armenia.

During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views took place on deepening the Armenia-European Union partnership, as well as on regional and international agenda issues.

The parties also discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. Pashinyan and Macron emphasized the importance of establishing sustainable and long-term peace in the South Caucasus.
