The Central Hospital of the State Customs Committee’s Medical Service Department has been granted the right to perform heart transplants.
elchi reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision to amend the “List of specialized medical institutions performing organ transplantation”.
It should be noted that until today, the Central Hospital performed liver, pancreas and its segments, kidney, and corneal transplants.
Furthermore, the Republican Diagnostic Center will be able to perform heart, lung (heart-lung complex), liver, kidney, pancreas and its segments, small intestine segment, corneal, as well as bone marrow and stem cell transplants.
