The average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan has increased.
This was reported to elchi by the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, in January-May 2026, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in the country increased by 7.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, amounting to 1,175 manats.
It was stated that the average monthly salary was 4,605.7 manats in the oil and gas sector and 1,113.3 manats in the non-oil and gas sector.
According to the data, the average monthly salary of those working in state enterprises was 1,160.9 manats, while the salary of those working in the private sector was 1,188.7 manats.
