False information is being spread on social networks and various messaging platforms regarding the alleged payment of compensation for privatization vouchers, the necessity of registration, and the need to contact certain mobile numbers for this purpose.
elchi reports that this was stated in a joint statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Media Development Agency.
According to the statement, the mentioned information does not reflect the truth and is aimed at creating confusion among citizens.
“Citizens are advised not to trust such fake advertisements, not to contact unknown phone numbers, and under no circumstances to provide bank card details, identity card information, SMS confirmation codes, or other personal financial information to the other party, nor to make any payments.
Investigations into these fake reports are currently underway,” the joint statement noted.
