Russia notes the statements of European politicians about the need to restore dialogue with Moscow, but in practice, these signals are not reflected in reality. According to “RIA Novosti”, this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

“We hear many statements in this vein and broad discussions among European politicians, including those in Germany. However, from a practical point of view, this is not reflected in the real policy of those countries,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

At the same time, Peskov emphasized that Moscow remains open to dialogue with European countries. “But, of course, if the dialogue is restored, we will always rely on the experience we have gained,” the press secretary added.

Earlier, “The Times” publication, citing an unnamed source, reported that Berlin’s approach to dialogue with Moscow has become more pragmatic and constructive. The publication noted that there has been a “change of mood” in Germany’s position on the issue of negotiations with Russia, and work is underway on loosely coordinated initiatives to establish communication channels.
