Rules for the installation of heating systems have been approved.

elchi reports that Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has signed a decision regarding this matter.

According to the decision, requirements for the installation of boiler plants have been established:

– boiler plants must be installed in compliance with construction design documents and the requirements of urban planning and construction standards;
– boiler rooms must meet fire and explosion safety requirements, as well as the requirements of sanitary rules and standards;
– boiler plants must be installed taking into account the technical requirements of the manufacturer, and the equipment and materials used must meet the requirements stipulated in the project;
– safety measures must be taken and tightness tests must be conducted before commissioning the boiler plants.

Also, the requirements for the installation of gas-air ducts and smoke stacks are as follows:

– the requirements of AzDTN 2.12-1 must be taken into account during the installation of gas-air ducts and smoke stacks;
– the diameters and lengths of smoke stacks must be determined according to the capacity of the boiler equipment and the type of fuel, and the aerodynamic indicators provided for in the project must be observed;
– the inner surfaces of gas-air ducts and smoke stacks must be unobstructed and smooth, with no protruding edges that impede flow;
– insulation of structures with non-combustible materials must be ensured in places where gas-air ducts and smoke stacks pass;
– hatches and inspection windows intended for technical inspection, cleaning, and control must be installed in the gas-air duct system;
– the outlet parts of gas-air ducts and smoke stacks must be protected from atmospheric conditions (rain, snow, wind flow, etc.) and equipped with appropriate caps (deflectors, rain guards, etc.);
– after the installation work is completed, tightness and air leakage tests must be conducted on all joints of gas-air ducts and smoke stacks;
– during installation, the placement of electrical cables, fuel lines, and other combustible elements near smoke stacks must not be allowed;
– the control of light obstacles for smoke stacks must be provided from the objects to which they belong in accordance with the “Rules for the installation of electrical installations”.
