On July 17, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to our country, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl.

President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.
Expressing his satisfaction with the development of our bilateral relations, the head of state emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in political, economic-trade, investment, and tourism spheres, as well as increasing contacts at various levels.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the ambassador success in his activities and expressed his hope that his work would contribute to the development of Azerbaijan-Brazil relations.
Stating that he felt honored to be appointed as ambassador to our country and to meet with the head of state, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl noted that our diplomatic relations are at a high level.
The ambassador emphasized that Azerbaijan and Brazil are also successfully cooperating in the field of COP.
Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl said that as ambassador, he would contribute to the expansion of our bilateral relations.
During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil within the framework of international organizations is being carried out successfully, and it was especially emphasized that both states support multilateral diplomacy.
