Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“During our visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the 15th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, we were received by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and conveyed the greetings of the head of state, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev conveyed his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev and expressed his confidence that the friendly and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will continue to develop successfully.
Emphasizing that bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new stage as a result of the political will and joint efforts of our heads of state, we shared our views on diversifying economic cooperation, actively promoting mutual trade and investment initiatives, and strengthening business ties,” noted M. Jabbarov.
