Members of the Public Council under the MES visited the Crisis Management Center

Members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a meeting at the MES Crisis Management Center.

According to the information provided by the MES to elchi, the meeting was attended by Colonel-Lieutenant Vugar Asgarov, Deputy Head of the Ministry’s Crisis Management Center, Major Irada Karimova, Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department, other responsible officials, and members of the Public Council.

The meeting was held to familiarize the participants with the Center’s activities, management capabilities, and operational response mechanisms to emergency situations.

During the event, Deputy Head of the Center V. Asgarov provided detailed information to the participants about the main activities of the Crisis Management Center.

It was noted that the Center carries out continuous monitoring of emergency situations occurring across the country, performs operational analysis of incoming information, and ensures the coordination of the activities of relevant agencies. In this context, detailed information was also provided regarding the operation of the “112” hotline.

It was stated that the application of modern information and communication technologies, digital maps, video surveillance systems, and other advanced technical means makes a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency and operational effectiveness of emergency management.

During the meeting, the members of the Public Council were visually presented with the Center’s operations room, monitoring system, and data processing process. Additionally, the decision-making mechanism during emergency situations and the principles of coordination with various state agencies were explained.

At the meeting, questions from the Public Council members were answered, and an exchange of views took place. Furthermore, confidence was expressed that such meetings contribute significantly to strengthening trust between state agencies and civil society and to organizing joint activities more effectively, and the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and mutual cooperation was emphasized.
