On July 16, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Chaba Lejko, President of “John Deere” for the CIS and Central Asia, Chief Executive Officer of “John Deere Walldorf International” LLC, and Peter Zakse, Vice President of the company for the CIS.

The guests stated that the development processes they witnessed in our country made a deep impression on them.
Touching upon the successful activities of the “John Deere” company in Azerbaijan, Chaba Lejko expressed their interest in expanding cooperation with our country.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that our country has broad potential in agriculture, it was noted that modern technologies are being applied in this field, the work carried out at the state level regarding the development of agriculture was touched upon, and the importance of the new State Program adopted in this regard was noted.
During the conversation, issues related to future cooperation between Azerbaijan and the “John Deere” company were discussed, and it was stated that there are good opportunities for expanding relations in many areas of agriculture.
