President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini has departed for a visit to Azerbaijan.

The President of Slovakia noted that strong relations have been formed between his country and Azerbaijan: “This visit is an opportunity to translate that trust into closer cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, and investment. I look forward to meeting with President Ilham Aliyev and other Azerbaijani officials to develop our partnership and create new opportunities for Slovakia.”
According to the information released by the Presidential Palace of Slovakia, it is reported that Peter Pellegrini will visit Aghdam, get acquainted with the “Smart Village” project in the Bash Garvand village, and participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of a new school that will bear the name of General Milan Rastislav Stefanik.
Also, within the framework of the Slovak President’s visit program to Baku, a Slovakia-Azerbaijan Business Forum will be held with the participation of Slovak entrepreneurs.
