Details of the incident involving the 2015-born Yaqub Zabil oglu Abutalibov, whose search continues in Chapli village of Kalbajar district, have been revealed.
According to the information provided by the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Kalbajar district, on July 12, the minor approached the river to fetch water while with family members in an area where they were engaged in beekeeping, and fell into the water due to carelessness.
Family members were also nearby at the time of the incident. A water canister was found on the riverbank.
Currently, intensive search and rescue operations are being carried out in the area by the search and rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the same time, underwater search operations are being conducted by divers and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
