The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that one person was stranded in a river in Katex village, Balakan district, due to a flash flood.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Press Service informed elchi about this.
Immediately upon receiving the information, firefighter-rescuers from the Balakan District Fire Protection Unit of the MES State Fire Protection Service were dispatched to the area.
As a result of the rescue operations carried out by the firefighter-rescuers, the citizen stranded in the river – Ramiz Shaban oglu Askhabov, born in 1985 – was rescued.
