Deputy Minister of Defense – Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Namig Islamzade, is on an official visit to Turkey.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Defense.
It was stated that in accordance with the plan, Lieutenant General N. Islamzade participated in a number of events within the framework of the “Anatolian Eagle – 2026” international tactical-flight exercise and met with the personnel.
The head of the Azerbaijani delegation, Colonel Zaur Mammadov, reported to the Air Force Commander on the progress of the exercise and the tasks assigned to the personnel.
The professionalism demonstrated by the personnel during the exercise was highly appreciated by the Deputy Minister.
Then, a meeting was held between Lieutenant General Namig Islamzade and the Commander of the Turkish Air Force, Army General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu.
During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of cooperation in the field of military aviation between our countries, the importance of joint exercises, and the exchange of mutual experience were particularly emphasized.
After observing the training activities from the air, the Commanders of the Air Forces of both countries became acquainted with the military weapons and equipment displayed at the exhibition organized within the framework of the exercise.
