In terms of its geographical location, Azerbaijan is one of the countries of significant importance for Airbus.
elchi reports that this was stated by Airbus representative Malhar Pens during a briefing held as part of the presentation of the first “Airbus A321neo” aircraft for Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).
He noted that Azerbaijan’s location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia makes the country one of the strategic hubs in terms of aviation.
“Due to its geographical position, Azerbaijan is an important country for Airbus. The country acts as a bridge between East and West, which creates great advantages for the development of air transport,” Malhar Pens noted.
According to the company official, Airbus attaches special importance to expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan and supporting the development of the country’s civil aviation sector.
