In accordance with the Protocol of the “17th Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue Meeting” between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey, an event was held at the Main Logistics Department of the Ministry of Defense to develop cooperation in the field of military logistics between our countries.

According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Defense, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the founder of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as those who died for the independence and territorial integrity of both brotherly countries, was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the national anthems were played.

In accordance with the plan, presentations were given to the guests regarding the experiences gained in the field of logistics during the Patriotic War.

It was especially noted at the event that the brotherly relations between our countries contribute to peace and stability in the region.

The parties discussed the decisive role of logistics on the transparent battlefield and shared their views on topics such as strategic warning, critical vulnerabilities, and the autonomous supply period.

Discussions were held on topics including food and water supply during the war, transportation of logistical supplies, activities of technical maintenance units and evacuation of the wounded, creation of bath and laundry facilities, as well as other supply issues.

Also, the guests became acquainted with the work done in the organization of clothing and food supply in the Azerbaijan Army at one of the military units.

In the end, a working protocol on the results of the event was signed, mutual gifts were presented, and questions of interest to the participants were answered.
