Over the last 5 years, approximately 2 billion US dollars have been allocated for the education of youth in the country.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Finance, Anar Karimov, during a session titled “Youth Without Borders: The Driving Force of Shared Regional Prosperity” held within the framework of the Islamic Development Bank’s Annual Meetings in Baku.
According to him, approximately 70,000 young people have benefited from various educational programs during that period:
“In Islam, education is not only an economic investment but also an investment in human dignity, responsibility, and service to society. That is precisely why, in Azerbaijan, we view the investment in youth as an investment in young entrepreneurship. Young entrepreneurs need access to wider markets, greater freedom of movement, and strong networks.”
