More than 23,000 educators will participate in the 2026 certification process.
This was reported to elchi by the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MÜTDA).
It was stated that the preparations for the 2026 certification process have been completed: “For the first time this year, the subjects of History, Technology, Music, Fine Arts, and Physical Education have been included in the process. In total, more than 23,000 educators will demonstrate their knowledge and skills in 35 examination centers across 19 cities this year.”
It was noted that nearly 84,000 teachers have been involved in the certification process, which has been implemented since 2022 and serves to improve the quality of education: “The certification process is of great importance in terms of evaluating and stimulating the professional level of pedagogical staff. So far, a 35 percent increase has been applied to the salaries of nearly 24,000 teachers who have successfully passed the certification, and a 10 percent increase has been applied to the salaries of more than 49,000 teachers.”
