MES appeals to the public regarding safety rules on beaches – VIDEO

With the warming of the weather, one of the places where the public heads for recreation is water basins. Despite the mass awareness-raising work carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it must be noted with regret that the failure of some citizens to follow safety rules in these places leads to tragic consequences.

This was reported to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Taking the above into account, the Ministry of Emergency Situations appeals to the public, urging them to strictly follow safety rules in water basins, including beaches.

Thus, the following actions are prohibited:

– swimming in places not intended for swimming, including canals and rivers;
– swimming beyond the marked boundaries of the swimming zone;
– entering the sea in windy weather;
– staying overnight on the beach;
– being on the beach while intoxicated;
– engaging in rough play in the water;
– entering the beach area with boats and small vessels other than rescue equipment!

Remember:

– children should not be left unattended on the beach, and the instructions of warning signs and boards, as well as the calls and demands of lifeguards, must be strictly followed!
– staying under the scorching sun for long periods and entering the water after dark is dangerous!

Do not forget: Indifference to the rules is a threat to our lives!

In case of danger, call 112!
