“Today, 50% of children get information from social media, and this is considered riskier.”
elchi reports that the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, stated this at the presentation of the book “Children and Law” and the research paper “Children’s Legal Thinking” prepared by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
He noted that if we tell children to learn in electronic form or learn in a traditional form, society will not move forward.
“The number of alternative sources is increasing. The most important period in human development is the first 1000 days of human life, that is, the 3-year period,” the minister emphasized.
Emin Amrullayev said that in the current era, children prefer electronic formats more in the educational process:
“We cannot force children back to the traditional method. Instead of keeping them away from social media platforms and electronic formats, we need to learn how to regulate this.”
The minister noted that in many cases, questions asked by children to artificial intelligence are about wanting the answer to the problem:
“This is very risky. Because children are not asking for the solution to the problem. They want to know the answer to the problem.”
