Starting July 1, the selling price of “Baku Kart” cards will be changed from 2 manats to 3 manats.
“Elchi” reports that “Baku Kart” has released information regarding this matter.
It should be noted that “Baku Kart” cards have been available for passenger use since 2015, and there has been no change in the selling price of the card during this period.
Taking into account the increases in card production, technical maintenance, logistics, and infrastructure costs during this time, the price has been reviewed.
In recent years, digital payment options in public transport have been significantly expanded. Currently, in addition to BakuKart cards, passengers can also make payments via bank cards using NFC technology, mobile devices, and QR codes.
It has been stated that no changes are planned regarding the card balance and fare prices. The change only applies to the selling price of newly purchased BakuKart cards.
