Baku to host the 14th IsDB Group Private Sector Forum

On June 16-19, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group will host its 14th Private Sector Forum (PSF 2026) in Baku.

“Elchi” reports that the forum will be organized by the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), in partnership with the IsDB Group Business Forum (THIQAH).

The forum, which will be held at the Baku Convention Center, is dedicated to the theme “Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity.” Its main goal is to strengthen economic cooperation among IsDB member countries, expand trade and investment ties, and increase the role of the private sector in sustainable economic development.

The event will discuss new opportunities in regional integration, cross-border investments, trade relations, infrastructure, energy, technology, healthcare, and finance. The forum will feature high-level panel sessions, B2B and B2G meetings between government and business representatives, startup programs, and knowledge-sharing events.

In addition, supporting entrepreneurs, particularly small and medium-sized business entities, expanding public-private partnerships, and promoting innovative projects will be among the key directions of the forum. During the event, a special exhibition zone will also operate, where participants can present investment projects, services, and business opportunities.

A startup competition will be held within the framework of the forum, and the IsDB Group’s Excellence Awards, presented to organizations and individuals contributing to economic development and trade promotion, will be awarded for the fourth time.

More than 1,500 participants are expected to attend the event, including heads of government agencies, representatives of international financial institutions, leaders of leading companies, investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of chambers of commerce and industry. It is stated that the forum will serve as an important platform for building new partnerships and expanding investment cooperation among IsDB member countries.
