Russia is grateful to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his assistance in sending humanitarian aid to Iran.
“Elchi” reports, citing TASS, that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this during a meeting with the heads of the world’s leading news agencies.
“We are very grateful to President Ilham Aliyev for helping us send humanitarian aid to Iran. It should be noted that the Azerbaijani side worked very effectively in this regard, responded to all our requests immediately, and this is very important for easing the situation in that direction,” Putin said.
