Denis Shtilerman, co-founder of “Fire Point”, one of Ukraine’s largest missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturers, claims that if the relevant decision is made, Ukraine can create its own nuclear weapons.
elchi reports that he stated this in an interview published on journalist Olesya Batsman’s Telegram channel.
“If anyone thinks that Ukraine is not capable of developing nuclear weapons, there is nothing complicated about it. Of course, we can do this,” he said.
Shtilerman noted that Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for security guarantees, but these guarantees have remained unfulfilled. “Of course, this is a very simple process, everything is clear there. It is a matter of political decision,” he added.
