On June 4, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the MFA, during the telephone conversation, the current state and prospects for cooperation in Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relations, as well as the current situation and security issues in the region, were discussed.
Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information regarding the negotiation process surrounding Iran and the latest situation. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts in terms of maintaining regional stability.
The parties also held discussions on other issues on the bilateral and regional agenda and recent developments.
