At a time when European Union countries are discussing the 21st package of sanctions against Russia, EU foreign ministers intend to adopt a reduced block of sanctions against Russia and China at a meeting to be held in Luxembourg on June 15.
“Elchi” reports that the European publication “Politico” has provided information on this matter.
The publication, citing its sources in Europe, notes: “The limited sanctions package will be adopted at the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg on June 15.”
According to the information they provided, the sanctions will be applied against four Chinese companies. The limited package will also include restrictions on ships and a number of individuals.
According to “Politico”, the approval of the reduced sanctions package is due to the fact that the EU has not yet been able to fully agree on the 21st sanctions package against Russia, which is planned to be adopted by the end of the summer.
