To increase farmers’ access to information, apply advanced technology, and make necessary data more accessible to them, a modular electronic digital platform will be launched within the framework of the existing “Ektis” program.
elchi reports that Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev said this in response to journalists’ questions at a press conference dedicated to the implementation of the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and issues arising from the State Program for the development of production and processing of agricultural, fishery, and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030.
He stated that this is expected to take place in the coming years, in 2027-2028.
“Certain tests have been conducted, and work is underway regarding this. Information will be transmitted to farmers regarding both weather and climate change, as well as other necessary issues,” he emphasized.
