Within the framework of her working visit to Serbia, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of this country, Ana Brnabić, on June 2.

It was stated that welcoming the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Speaker of the Serbian National Assembly Ana Brnabić noted that Azerbaijan is a friendly and allied country for Serbia, and the relations between the two countries are developing day by day.
Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova noted the high-level organization of the Global Conference of Women Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and pointed out that such events are an important platform for discussing existing problems.
Speaking about the important role of high-level mutual visits between our countries, which are friends and strategic partners, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova highlighted the importance of the mutual visits and meetings of President Ilham Aliyev and President Aleksandar Vučić, as well as the documents signed during these visits.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest between the parliaments.
