Today, Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Cabinet of Ministers, the importance of the events held within the framework of the “Baku Energy Week” was emphasized at the meeting. It was noted that the city of Baku has once again become one of the main centers of global energy dialogue, and it was highlighted that the mentioned platform makes a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation on issues of energy security, green transition, and sustainable development.
An exchange of views took place regarding the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, and opportunities for expanding relations in the fields of economy, trade, energy, humanitarian affairs, and other areas of mutual interest were discussed.
During the conversation, the importance of the humanitarian support provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine was emphasized, and gratitude was expressed for the humanitarian aid sent by our country to the Ukrainian people and the contribution made to the restoration of civilian infrastructure.
