Stating that the right energy policy now allows us to invest outside of Azerbaijan, the head of state emphasized: “30 years ago, it was a period when we were attracting investors. Now we are directing our investments abroad. Today, our state oil company SOCAR is investing in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, and the geography will expand.”
