In the three months since the start of military operations against Iran and the subsequent naval blockade of Iran, the US national debt has increased by more than $406.5 billion.

It should be noted that on February 28 of this year, the US and Israel began striking targets in Iran. Washington and Tehran declared a ceasefire on April 8.

One day before the start of the operation – on February 27, the US Department of the Treasury announced that the total amount of public debt was $38 trillion 769 billion 805 million.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Finance on May 30, this amount reached $39 trillion 176 billion 301 million.

Thus, three months after the US armed forces transitioned from active combat operations to the blockade of Iran, the country’s public debt has increased by $406.5 billion.
