Balakishi Gasimov has been re-elected as General Director of ITV

The new General Director of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV) has been determined.

“Elchi” reports that with the unanimous vote of the 8 members of the Broadcasting Council, Balakishi Gasimov has been re-elected as the General Director of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

The General Director of ITV was elected today by vote at the meeting of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company’s Broadcasting Council held at the Audiovisual Council.

Members of the Broadcasting Council, candidates, and representatives of the Audiovisual Council participated in the meeting as observers. The competition was held among 11 claimants. One of them withdrew their candidacy during the voting.

It should be noted that Balakishi Gasimov was also elected as the General Director of ITV in 2018 as a result of the vote by the members of the Broadcasting Council.

Let us recall that the General Director is elected by the Broadcasting Council for a term of 4 years.
