The consul of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Tabriz has died in a traffic accident.
“Elchi” reports that this was announced on the “X” social media account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of our esteemed diplomatic colleague, Ramil Rza oglu Imranov, who served as the consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tabriz, Islamic Republic of Iran, as a result of a car accident while performing his official duties on the Julfa-Tabriz highway near the town of Marand.
On this difficult day, we express our deepest condolences to the family, relatives, and colleagues of the deceased and wish them patience. May God have mercy on his soul!” the statement said.
