Two documents were signed during the planned two-day business visit of BP’s Chief Executive Officer Murray Auchincloss and the company’s Executive Vice President of Production and Operations Gordon Birrell to Azerbaijan.
According to the information provided by the company to elchi, two Memoranda of Understanding were signed during the meeting with the participation of Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Murray Auchincloss:
– A Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and BP regarding cooperation on the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure currently being established under the Ministry’s leadership;
– A Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and BP on the promotion, further strengthening, and expansion of long-term cooperation in the energy sector.
