The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has sent an official request to the competent authorities of Germany regarding the detention of a citizen of the republic in Berlin on suspicion of illegal activities.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated to the “KazTAQ” agency by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that the agency is monitoring the situation and awaiting a response from the German side:
“In connection with the reports circulating in media resources about a citizen of Kazakhstan being detained in Germany on suspicion of illegal activities, an official request has been sent to the competent authorities of Germany. A response is currently being awaited. The matter is under the control of the ministry.”
Earlier, foreign media reported the detention in Berlin of a Kazakhstani citizen suspected of espionage for Russia and attempting to organize sabotage.
