“Elchi” reports that this was stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the IX Congress of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan.
The head of state noted that the deformation of national-moral and family values in many countries as a result of growing global threats, especially globalization and the harmful effects of social media platforms, highlights the importance and role of the institution of elders existing in Azerbaijan more prominently.
“Raising our youth in a spirit of national patriotism and attachment to their roots, and guiding them on the right path is one of the main tasks facing our elders,” the President of Azerbaijan emphasized.
