The Netherlands will provide financial assistance for the search of missing persons in Azerbaijan and Armenia.
elchi reports that this was stated by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tom Berendsen, in Yerevan.
The minister said that his country welcomes the steps taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia towards normalizing relations.
“It is very important that the process ends with the signing of a peace document,” Berendsen said.
He also welcomed Yerevan’s aspiration for closer cooperation with the European Union.
