Russian leader’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and US President Donald Trump is possible.
elchi reports that Peskov told the “Vesti.ru” news agency in response to a question about the possibility of a trilateral meeting between the leaders.
“Such a meeting is possible. The three parties understand that it would be good to meet, and the three parties are hypothetically ready for it. There is no precisely defined agenda yet; it needs to be finalized,” Peskov said.
The Russian president’s press secretary also noted that Washington wants to discuss nuclear disarmament, which Beijing is reluctant to do. Peskov called for abandoning the idea of a “new Yalta” but expressed confidence that a possible trilateral meeting would attract global attention.
