The experience of participants in the 2026 graduation exam was investigated.
This was reported to elchi by the State Examination Center.
It was stated that the main analysis covered three respondent groups: 18,717 graduates of the current year, 592 graduates of previous years, and 839 respondents who participated in the survey after the entrance exam.
In addition, the opinions of a total of 15,494 participants were studied in 64 surveys conducted immediately after various exams during 2026.
It was noted that during the surveys, opinions were collected regarding exam conditions, proctor activity, clarity of tasks, technical and organizational issues, as well as the overall exam experience. Subjective difficulty, clarity, confidence, stress, social pressure, perceptions of the exam and admission system, as well as factors influencing the choice of major were analyzed in the main surveys. The difference between the objective difficulty of the exam and how participants subjectively rated it was also noted during the analysis.
It was stated that participants were asked to rate a number of opinions about their exam experience on a scale of 1 to 5:
“1 corresponded to ‘strongly disagree’, and 5 to ‘fully agree’. Therefore, the closer the average score is to 5, the stronger that opinion is expressed in the respondents’ answers.
After the graduation exam, the average subjective difficulty of the exam among the general participant audience was 4.19 on a five-point scale. This is a high indicator. However, open-ended responses and reasons for dissatisfaction show that this rating does not solely include the complexity of the tasks. The most frequently mentioned points were the length of tasks and texts, lack of time, difficulty of questions, and unexpected tasks”.
