In January-September of this year, silk worth $408,000 was exported from Azerbaijan to foreign markets.
elchi reports, citing the State Customs Committee, that this figure is 9% or $33.59 thousand more than in the same period of 2025. Last year, Azerbaijan exported silk worth $374.41 thousand during the corresponding period.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, silk imports to our country amounted to $40.2 thousand, which is 40.3% or $27.11 thousand less than in the corresponding period of last year.
