NATO countries will hold talks by the end of October to assess their armament needs in a state of conflict with Russia.

According to the publication, targets for 2029 will be set at the meeting, and based on these targets, specific military forces and assets must be provided by each alliance member.
It is reported that the parties discussed five main topics. The main issue will be to determine how many resources countries are willing to allocate. The issue of providing conditional military assistance to nuclear-armed countries may also be discussed. The second topic will be to replace American military aid – according to the newspaper, the search for alternatives could intensify.
The third topic is about paying more attention to the southern and southeastern flanks of the alliance. In addition, countries plan to discuss increasing the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their future proportion compared to conventional weapons. The final topic is expected to be closer cooperation with Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously stated that there is no reason for Moscow to enter into a conflict with Europe. He believes that all issues have been resolved after World War II.
Putin also stated that Europe is pushing its countries into war with Russia. The head of state noted that Europeans fear a potential threat from Moscow.
