The opening ceremony of the 3rd meeting of the “Capability Assurance Initiative of Partner Countries” training and the 1st level self-assessment training within the framework of the “Partnership for Peace Program” between Azerbaijan and NATO was held in Baku.
According to the news provided to elchi from the Ministry of Defense, a group of military personnel from the Azerbaijani Army and partner countries participated in the event.
It was stated that during the training, participants will undergo exercises on the planning and execution of trainings within the Military Decision-Making Process based on a peacekeeping operation scenario, in accordance with NATO standards.
It was noted that such trainings are of great importance in terms of increasing the level of preparedness for peacekeeping operations, strengthening mutual cooperation, and exchanging experience.
In addition, within the framework of the 1st level self-assessment training of the peacekeeping battalion and Military Police company declared to the NATO Operations Capabilities Concept (OCC) Joint Force, a review of the equipment, supplies, and other equipment in service, as well as an assessment of skills in executing tactical tasks during peacekeeping operations are planned.
