TABIB and specialists from the Ministry of Health are investigating a case of drug allergy observed in 11 children receiving inpatient treatment at the Children’s Hospital of the Sumgayit Medical Center.

It was stated that appropriate samples of the drug used were taken.
“The children were immediately provided with the necessary medical services. Currently, their condition is assessed as stable and their treatment is continued in accordance with their diagnoses. The condition of 4 of them has been assessed as satisfactory and they have been discharged home for outpatient treatment,” the statement emphasized.
It should be noted that these children were treated in the hospital for a respiratory viral infection before the incident.
