On October 5, the VII International Forum on New Challenges in Education will be held under the motto “A more educated future”.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Science and Education. It was stated that the forum, dedicated to the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”, will be organized in a hybrid format with the partnership of the Ministry of Science and Education, and the organization of the “Regional Development” Public Union and the “T-Network” education workers’ experience and communication platform.
The main goal of the forum is to discuss new challenges and modern approaches in education, and to share international experiences regarding the formation of an educational environment that supports emotional balance, conscious perception, and well-being.
Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the OECD, Anoshirvan Mianji, coordinator for science and philosophy at the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department of TOBB University of Economics and Technology, teacher and writer, Gert Guriev, an architect specializing in the architecture of educational institutions in Estonia, Mike Thiruman, General Secretary of the Singapore Teachers’ Union, and Agustin Porres, Regional Director of the Varkey Foundation, will deliver presentations at the event.
A Q&A session with Professor Ziya Selçuk will also be held within the framework of the forum.
During the discussions, issues such as establishing a balance between high performance expectations in education and student well-being, developing conscious thinking skills, pedagogical design and behavioral architecture of the school environment, digital diet, the impact of school architecture on learning motivation and well-being, as well as the objective assessment of real knowledge and skills when using artificial intelligence will be in focus.
