As of September 15 of this year, 1,351 citizens who were left helpless due to flooding in private residential houses and backyard plots caused by unstable weather conditions and heavy rains have been promptly evacuated by rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated today by Akshin Alili, Head of the Public Relations and Propaganda Department of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the MES, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service, at a briefing held today.
He noted that appropriate assistance was provided to 38 people.
It was noted that in the corresponding period of 2025, these figures were 170 and 9, respectively.
