A mine explosion has occurred in the territory of Jamilli village of Shusha district.
“Elchi” reports that the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) have released information regarding this.
It was stated that a vehicle driven by Bakhtiyar Mirza oglu Bayramov, a resident of Baku born in 1979, hit an anti-tank mine in an uncleared area along the former contact line. During the incident, he sustained various bodily injuries.
The Shusha District Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the incident.
“ANAMA, the MIA, and the Prosecutor General’s Office once again call on citizens to follow safety regulations, pay close attention to mine danger signs, not to touch suspicious objects, not to enter unfamiliar areas, and not to interfere with areas where fencing activities are being carried out,” the statement emphasized.
