The US, Japan, and the Republic of Korea have agreed on a trilateral partnership in the Arctic region to develop maritime cooperation and implement economic projects.
elchi reports that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced this on the “X” social network.
“Today, the US, Japan, and the Republic of Korea established a trilateral partnership in the Arctic region to advance maritime cooperation and implement economic projects, including energy and infrastructure,” he wrote.
Rubio noted that he looks forward to working closely with the foreign ministers of Japan and South Korea for the future development of this partnership.
